The
societies are divided by multiple lines which characterize them. One
of the most common lines is exactly the theme which I propose: the
weak citizens and the opportunistic politicians. Since the beginning,
human beings have misused and been inconsiderate of one another. Here
I mention the lies of the promises of the political program; those
using their power to manipulate those others who are not aware of
this misuse. The greed and assumed benefits of this misconduct is
translated as exercising the power of government.
This
visual proposal is constructed in saturations of forms to give the
idea of the passion and energy of the gullible Dominicans in the promotional
and political campaigns. This environment that is created, a bit saddening
and overwhelming, connecting the visual references of the human condition
with the rash criticism of Aldus Huxley, specifically his Ends and
Means. The writing of the concept of “Fools” refers to
those utilized, to that margin which is the “mass” or
the “people” that converts into the prime subject of the
business of the “very profiteers” that assume political
corruption as their strategy.
