Design. Where can we look within a designed piece and determine where the
task of the graphic designer commences and that of the illustrator ends? Sometimes
the adequate image cannot be found but the concept is already there. One of the
advantages of being fluent in both fields, is once the photograph or illustration is
captured and placed, I can carry on and thoroughly portray the idea through the
placement of type and color. Simplicity, movement, interaction with the viewer, all these
aspects are absolutely essential in establishing a solid and direct approach to a piece.
